Hypnotherapy:
Self-Hypnosis and Subliminal Messages
Hypnosis and Self-Hypnosis (sessions you can receive at home).
The purpose of Hypnotherapy is to help you gain more control over your behavior, emotions or physical well-being.
It can be used independently or along with other treatments.
Hypnosis is active - you listen and pay attention to the words which you consciously hear.
It is used to treat many conditions, including:
- Lowering blood pressure
- Reducing or eliminating fears, stress and anxiety
With Hypnosis:
- You are deeply relaxed and calm
- Your attention is more focused
Sessions can be either a private session with a Hypnotherapist or a Self-Hypnosis session recorded by a Hypnotherapist which you can use at home.
Listen to all Self-Hypnosis sessions only when you can relax and let go.
Subliminal Messages:
Subliminal messages, usually with music or nature sounds, work on the same principles as hypnosis: both methods access the subconscious mind, the difference is:
Subliminal messaging is passive - you don't consciously hear the messages and don't have to pay attention.
- Your subconscious will hear and receive the subliminal messages recorded beneath the music or nature sounds.
- Many people use them as a gentle background sound to other activities: reading, walking, gardening, driving, working or exercising.
- Subliminal message sessions are ideal for when doing something that requires your attention, such as driving.
